It gives work and opportunities to those who have few.
Its secret ingredient is talent.
So be careful when you taste one of our pizzas.
Because together with the taste of our genuine products
and the tradition of an ancient dish,
you may discover that there is much more:
the pride of those who love their land and its beauty.
Our name is one of the many nicknames attributed to Naples.
Especially to talk bad about it.
However, as always, there is a flip side to the coin.
This “bad” land, this Malaterra, is our wonderful land and it is a land of good people. A land where culture, food, art, music and sympathy meet in a millenary tradition.
Malaterra has a recent history, but it comes from far away.
In fact, it was born in a family of “pizza makers” of three generations
who have always been active in Naples and Rome.
With the passing of generations, the desire to bring
our humble wisdom to the world has grown.
Hence the idea of creating Malaterra and opening our pizzerias
throughout Europe.
Just like the Neapolitans did in the 1800s when they invented pizzerias.
We are open/located in Rome in via Cicerone, Prati’s neighborhood;
in Eur neighborhood at Euroma 2 shopping mall and
in Viale XXI Aprile near by piazza Bologna.
By the end of 2025 we are planning to open in Milan, Bologna, Naples and beyond…
